We at DrinkGreen are not only about the love of green smoothies, but also the encouragement of the commitment to a LIFESTYLE CHANGE through more exercise and better food choices. We ARE on this journey together. We want to share a challenge with you inspired by BlackgirlsWorkOutToo.com that has and IS working for us at DrinkGreen. This challenge is for those who are SERIOUS and are just getting started and would love the support, encouragement and tips we can all offer each other. We use MyFitnessPal to calculate our daily calorie intake and because everyone is different in body type and dietary needs we highly recommend that you visit MyFitnessPal.com to calculate your specific daily calorie intake. “DrinkGreen4Life’s 7 Day Detox Challenge for Beginners” will start on Monday, April 8, 2013 and will end on Monday, April 15, 2013. Well actually… a Lifestyle Change NEVER Ends! DrinkGreen4Life is on this Lifestyle Change Journey with you!
Along with DrinkGreen4Life, for the next 7 days I will commit to:
not eating meat, not eating bread and not eating anything white (ie white bread, white sugar, salt, flour)
to drinking at least 6-8 8oz cups of water everyday. The more water, the better.
at least 30-45 minutes of cardio exercise 4-5 days for the week of the challenge
incorporating more fruit and vegetables into your diet by having 2 green smoothies a day (you can purchase prepackaged green smoothie kits from DrinkGreen4Life.com by filling out our DrinkGreen Smoothie Order Form)
sharing your Lifestyle Change Journey with DrinkGreen4Life with updates on your progress.
This 7 Day Detox challenge for Beginners was inspired by BlackGirlsWorkOutToo, however this challenge is not specific to the meal plan recommended by BlackGirlsWorkOutToo. If you have the BlackGirlsWorkOutToo DVD we recommend you follow the meal plan they suggest for you. Along with the recommended meal plan, during the 7 Day Detox Challenge DrinkGreen4Life will offer meal plan tips & alternatives that personally work for our LifeStyle Change Journey. We will also offer different green smoothie recipes daily that promote weight loss.
